the dark side

the dark side of the blog phenomenon is the unnecessary proliferation of the (boring) blog just so that said boring blogger can comment on the blogs of her friends. this is one such blog.
of course, posting just might give me something to do afternoons at the quietest library on earth. but that won't make it any more interesting.

Oh, thank God. I was beginning to wonder when this would happen. Thank you for not making me take drastic measures to make it happen myself. I mean, you're a perfect blogging nominee: you know HTML, you're damn good with those clever turns of phrase, you have a lot of spare time on your hands, and you live 3K miles away and we don't talk very often. Perfect! I, for one, am very excited about the new boringest blog on the blogk (get it, it's like a combination of blog and block! get it?)

your comment assumes i am going to use my html skills for blog and not evil. that is where you are mistaken. if i wanted to use my html skills i would have started a vanity page. it would have involved photos and photoshoped junk. however, i just want a postcard and am therefore more than happy to allow blogger to do all my web design. on all other counts, you are right.

jad: i think i can safely say that as long as i am in my current job i will never be the blogger complaining of lack of time to blog. ;)
